Legacy
Che Guevara has become an iconic figure, thanks in part to a particularly striking photo on him taken in 1960, making his image one of the most reproduced in history.[1]
Thomas Sankara, a Marxist revolutionary who became president of Burkina Faso and whose life also cut short by assassination, was termed the "Che Guevara of Africa".[2]
