Timbro is a Swedish neoliberal, free market think tank and lobbying group that works to influence legislation as well as public opinion and promote the interests of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (in Swedish: Svenskt Näringsliv). Its research and analyses are centered on the core values: individual liberty, economic freedom,an open society and reducing the role of the national government in the economy to a minimum. Since its founding in 1978 it has received its primary funding from the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
