The Fitzgerald report was created on behalf of Congressman Charles Tobey who enlisted Benedict Fitzgerald, an investigator for the Interstate Commerce Commission, to probe allegations of conspiracy and monopolistic practices on the part of orthodox medicine. It was entered into the Congressional Record on August 3, 1953.[1][2][3]
