Myles Ambrose resigned office[clarification needed] in May 1973, after it was disclosed he had visited the Texas ranch of a suspected smuggler, Richard Harper.[1]

Career

In 1972, Nixon appointed Ambrose to head the White House Office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement.
