Mark Reed Levin is a lawyer, columnist, political commentator and radio host with: The Mark Levin Show, as well as Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox News. He said he was in the "Never Trump" camp, but reluctantly endorsed Donald Trump after he won the Republican nomination and since the start of the first Trump presidency, his commentary has become pro-Trump.

Background

Levin was born in Philadelphia to a Jewish family. He was a high performer, skipping his senior year of high school, holding a B.A. from Temple University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Temple University School of Law.

Activities

Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan and was a chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese. He is the former president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, an author of seven books, and contributor to media outlets such as National Review Online and the Conservative Review.

Opinions

At the 2025 US CPAC conference, on the question about the joy of Palestinians at the handover and showing of coffins with dead Israeli bodies, he answered:

"these bastard must be eradicated, it's that simple" .. "these are the same people that attacked us at 9/11 and it's the same people who decapitated 70 black Christians in a Kongo church 48 hours ago" .. "This is the enemy" .. "This is not about land, it is not about borders, it is not about any of that. They seek to extinguish us, these Islamist terrorists and we have to extinguish them before they even have a shot at extinguishing us".
