Jacques Bouthier is a French businessman.

Triggering of the first investigation in May 2022

On March 15, 2022, a 22-year-old woman comes to file a complaint with the police station of the 19th arrondissement of Paris. She accused Jacques Bouthier of rape since 2016. He had made her captive in one of his apartments in the Paris region. Aged 16 and homeless when they made contact, the woman would have been sequestered in an apartment in Noisy-le-Sec12.

Jacques Bouthier is incarcerated and indicted on May 21, 2022, along with five other people, in an investigation for "trafficking in minor human beings, rape of minors and participation in a criminal association with a view to committing kidnapping or sequestration in an organized gang". He also allegedly forcibly dragged the first complainant to libertine sex parties in the Paris region. Having become too old in his eyes, she was sent on a mission to find a new young woman. A 14-year-old Romanian girl who lived in a squat replaced her. The complainant allegedly managed to film them both in bed, then entrusted the video to the investigators. The video lasts just over a minute but seems very compromising.

Jacques Bouthier allegedly tried to set up a team to retrieve the video, kidnap the young woman and evacuate her out of France. This team includes "several policemen or ex-policemen", according to Le Monde, several people, according to Ouest-France: "his wife, two employees of his company, a young woman close to the complainant, as well as a former gendarme member of the French gendarmerie".The former gendarme is Christian Giroud, head of security for the Rothschild bank.

A well-established and massive system of sexual predation

For several years, seven young women, minors or young adults, were also allegedly held in the apartment and allegedly constituted sex slaves for Jacques Bouthier who allegedly set up a global system of sexual predation, in particular including predations during his trips to Morocco. In particular, the police officers allegedly discovered child pornography files at his home. The investigations carried out by the French police are now aimed at measuring the extent of a possible human trafficking system.

Several young girls seem to have succeeded each other in his apartment intended for sexual relations with the captives. He allegedly offered 4,000 euros to one of them so that she offered him her virginity; Jacques Bouthier even seemed interested in recruiting very young girls: "8-11 years old. Up to 14 years, no more", according to one of the captives.
