People who know him describe him as brilliant, and after dropping out of medical school, he studied politics at the University of Cambridge, later becoming an adviser to several members of Parliament in the conservative wing of the Labour Party.”

On 17 November 2020, Imran Ahmed was interviewed about that day's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg:
