Explosives are used to create bombs, a preferred tool for the staging of false flag attacks. The nature of the explosive used is critical evidence, but is sometimes glossed over by supposed "investogators".

"Terror drills"

In 2016, the CIA was using real explosives as part of "terror drills" in schools.[1]

The Russian apartment bombings were terminated after the Ryazan incident, in which a bomb was found in the base of a building. The explosive was named on Russian TV as RDX. However, two days later Federal Security Service (FSS) Director Nikolai Patrushev announced that the Ryazan incident had been a "training exercise"[2] that used a sack of sugar instead, something the local FSB denied.

Different types

Determination of the type of explosive used in bombs can yield important evidence about who might have prepared the bomb. Militaries and spooks commonly use plastic explosive. This is typically unavailable to smaller groups.

Failure to investigate

What was the explosive used in the 2005 London bombings?

Nano-thermite

Niels Harrit investigated residue from the 9/11 attacks and found iron rich microspheres and traces of explosive residue, supporting the theory that nano-thermite was used to demolish the WTC.

C-4The most powerful non-nuclear explosive, supposedly very tightly controlled. However, in 1982 a long time CIA operative exported 20 tons, almost the entire US domestic stockpile, to Libya, and trained Muammar Gaddafi's forces how to use it for bomb making.
Nano-thermiteAn explosive which was found in the dust of the World Trade Center after September 11th, 2001.
