Daniel Forestier was a DGSE agent who was assassinated, aged 57, in March 2019.
Career
He worked for 14 years in the DGSE.[1]
Assassination
Forestier was found "found riddled with bullets in a layby in the Alps.".[2] He was shot dead after being implicated in the attempted assassination of Ferdinand Mbaou, an exiled Congolese opposition figure.[3][4]
