The DONi News Agency was the official press agency of the breakaway republic in the Donbas region.[1][2][3] The agency was set up with the the help of Janus Putkonen,[4][5] who is editor-in-chief of UMV-Lehti, an independent Finnish news agency.[6]
It reported about the (daily) attacks with heavy military equipment of the Ukrainian forces against the civilian towns and cities in the region, internal politics, and other matters of public concern in English.
