The Central African Republic (CAR) is among the ten poorest countries in the world, Despite its significant mineral deposits and other resources — such as uranium reserves, crude oil, gold, diamonds, cobalt, lumber, and hydropower as well as significant quantities of arable land.
History
Independence from France in 1960.
Geography
The Central African Republic is roughly the size of France and is bordered by Chad to the north, Sudan and South Sudan to the north and east, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa) and the Republic of the Congo to the south, and Cameroon to the west
COVID-19
COVID-19 has barely affected the country.

In April 2022, the nation announced it would adopt bitcoin as legal tender.[1]
