Allan Adair was a senior officer of the British Army who served in both World Wars. He was Peter Carrington's commanding officer at the Battle of Arnhem, and "left only a sketchy memoir of the battle."[1]

Adair was born in London.

Military career

He fought in both World War I and World War II.

Connections

In the 1960s and 1970s, he was Deputy Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of Freemasons.[1]
