Yannis S. Costopoulos is a Greek financier and multimillionaire.

Career

With a B.Sc. from Durham University, Yannis joined Alpha Bank S.A., which was the Costopoulos family bank in 1963. He has served a titular position since 1973.

Costopoulos was the Managing Director of Alpha Bank A.E and has also worked as the executive chairman of the board of the same bank. He is also the chairman of Alpha Bank London, a subsidiary.

He has worked as president of the board of directors of Ionian Hotel enterprises S.A.

Honorary Member, Board of Trustees at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.[1]
