Template:TemplateIt takes the following arguments:

|image = an image (Property:Has image)
|image_width = width of this image
|type = what type of event (Property:Has eventType)
|glossary = WikitextPlaintext summary for the glossary (major terms only). (Property:GlossaryDescription)
|wikipedia = English wikipedia URL for the event (Property:Has wikipediaPage)
|wikipedia_protection = Set to 1 if the wikipedia page is edit protected, 0 or empty otherwise (Property:Has wikipediaProtection)
|occurred = when an event occurred (for instantaneous events) (Property:Occurred on)
|start = when the event began, or when it is scheduled to begin (Property:Start)
|end = when the event ended, or when it is scheduled to (if at all) (Property:End)
|video = a URL of a video of the event (Property:Has video)
|locations = where the event happened (Property:Has location)
|subevents = component event sub-event (for more complex events) (Property:Has subEvent)

All aspect parameters should be given their own SMWObject templates, rendering this parameter obsolete
|causes = other directly causes of this event (Property:Has cause)
|constitutes= suitable descriptions of this event (e.g. "Assassination, False Flag, Coup d'état") (Property:Constitutes)
|effects = other events directly caused by this event (Property:Has effect)
|perpetrators = which groups/individuals were responsible for this the event (Property:Has perpetrator)
|witnesses = list of witnesses to the event (Property:Has witness)
For timeline events:
|timeline = name of the timeline to feature this event (e.g. MH17)

|ON_witnesses = list of witnesses to the event (Property:ON has witness)

|authority = which authority controls this case (Property:Has authority) (usually singular)
|plaintiffs = who is bringing this case (Property:Has plaintiff)
