Template:Event

This template provides a standard format for event pages.

Blue parameters are for a single Wikispooks page name (If no suitable page exists, then pick a title for a future page)
Brown parameters are for numbers
Green parameters are for comma-separated lists of page names (Or planned page names).
Navy parameters are for dates
Orange parameters are for booleans. (Usually, either "Yes" or just leave blank).
Purple parameters are URLs.
Violet parameters are slash-separated lists.
Pink parameters are for coordinates.
Crossed out parameters were formerly available, but have been upgraded. Some may still work, but do not use these.

It takes the following arguments:

|glossary = WikitextPlaintext summary for the glossary (major terms only). (Property:GlossaryDescription)
|wikipedia = English wikipedia URL for the event (Property:Has wikipediaPage)
|occurred = when an event occurred (for instantaneous events) (Property:Occurred on)
|start = when the event began, or when it is scheduled to begin (Property:Start)
|end = when the event ended, or when it is scheduled to (if at all) (Property:End)
|location = where the event happened (Property:Has location) [Deprecated]
|locations = where the event happened (Property:Has location)
|subevents = component event sub-event (for more complex events) (Property:Has subEvent)
|aspects = other angles on the event [displayed sub-pages] (Property:Has aspect)
|witnesses = list of witnesses to the event (Property:Has witness)
|constitutes= suitable descriptions of this event (e.g. "Assassination, False Flag, Coup d'état") (Property:Constitutes)
|causes = agent/cause/creator/precursor of the event (Property:Has cause)??
|effects = other events directly caused by this event (Property:Has effect)
For legal cases:

|authority = which authority controls this case (Property:Has authority) (usually singular)
|plaintiffs = who is bringing this case (Property:Has plaintiff)
|defendants = who is defending this case (Property:Has defendant)
