Unknown German vistor to the 1956 Bilderberg

Rolf Heyn is still not conclusively identified, but might have been an West German East-Asia expert or diplomat a businessman with interests and experience in the region. And it would fit with the subjects of the 1956 Bilderberg, which were dominated by Asian questions "A common approach by the Western world towards China", "How the West can best meet Asian requirements in the technical and economic fields", etc.

A Rolf Heyn is mentioned as Chairman of the Ostasiatische Verein (OAV) – German Asia-Pacific Business Association. "On the 8th August 1952, OAV chairman Rolf Heyn met with CNIEC manager Liu Shu-teh in East Berlin. The conversation paved the way for a semi-official meeting between Hans Kroll, the Federal Government’s General Advisor for East-West Trade in the Federal Ministry of Economics, and Shi Chih-ang, the new head of the Berlin office of the CNIEC, on 13th October 1952 in East Berlin."[1]
