Paranormal phenomena are events or entities that go beyond the normal scientific understanding of the world.[4]

The paranormal can include the following topics:

  • UFO and UAP sightings, encounters with extraterrestrial beings including alien abductions (experiences of scientific experiments or communication);
  • Ghosts, Hauntings, Poltergeists: spirits, contacts to the deceased, unexplained physical disturbances;
  • Parapsychology and Psychic Abilities:[5] psychic powers, telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, ESP (extrasensory perception), telekinesis, and the existence and/or visit of the afterlife (ie Near-Death Experiences);
  • Cryptids/Cryptozoology:[6] reports of Bigfoot and other creatures;
