NTSB investigator involved in the "investigation" into TWA Flight 800. Described it as "the most unusual investigation I've ever participated in and I investigated thousands of incidents".

Henry "Hank" F. Hughes is a former NTSB investigator who exposed the cover up about flight TWA Flight 800. He described it as "the most unusual investigation I've ever participated in and I investigated thousands of incidents... the most extraordinary in terms of violating appropriate rules and procedures".[1]

Career

Henry F. Hughes worked for the NTSB.[1]

Whistleblowing

In May 1999 Hank Hughes testified before the US Senate Judiciary Commitee on TWA 800, chaired by Chuck Grassley. He spoke of "unprecedented interference", as did the chief metallurgist. The NTSB senior management were taciturn.[1]
