Wikispooks Comment
The Steele dossier was "leaked" in early January 2017. It was initially cited by the CIA as part of their evidence of alleged Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 United States presidential election on Trump's behalf. However, the CIA denied being the source of the allegations contained in the dossier and could not confirm any of its contents[1][2]
