"Thank you for your letter... the material does not support your finding... I accept that you may have found this confusing... It appears that we will have to disagree... I do not believe it necessary to seek independent confirmation... I do not believ it was necessary to include the political views of Dr Hallam's father (whatever they may be) in the BBC coverage to achieve due accuracy or due impartiality...."
