A fashionable type of jargon, that becomes so overused that it loses it's original meaning.

A Buzzword is a word that becomes extremely popular for a period of time. The mainstream media is increasing the use of buzzwords in articles and coverage, as part of narrative building.

Media

Big Tech use buzzwords as part of Algorithm manipulation. Buzzwords tend to get more clicks, so article and video titles cram as many buzzwords in as possible to make more people read it.

An example is: "Homophobic bigot, who is also sexist and racist, is bigoted and hateful to marginalised minority groups"

Buzzwords are used to create Enemy images.
