Date19 October 2023

The 2023 Mid Bedfordshire by-election took place in the United Kingdom parliamentary constituency of Mid Bedfordshire following the resignation of the sitting Conservative MP, Nadine Dorries. It will be held the same day as the 2023 Tamworth by-election.

The date of the by-election was considered to coincide with the 2023 Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election on 5 October but it was decided it will be held at earliest possible date on 19 October 2023.[1]

It was won by Labour's Alistair Strathern.[2]
