Claimed to be one of the "three tramps" photographed shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy |
Chauncey Marvin Holt was an American known for claiming to be one of the "three tramps" photographed in Dealey Plaza shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Holt's story was undermined in 1992 when the Dallas Police Department revealed that the three tramps were three other men.
JFK assassination
In a 1991 Newsweek article about Oliver Stone's JFK, Holt stated that he was a CIA operative sent to Dallas to deliver phony Secret Service credentials. He also claimed to have worked as an accountant for Meyer Lansky.[1]
Spartacus Educational has an article discussing Chauncey Holt' story.
