Background
In 1946 Fethi Pekin founded Pekin Bayar Mizrahi, one of the oldest and largest law firms in Turkey.
Şefika Pekin joined Pekin Bayar Mizrahi in 1986,[1] and has been a senior partner since 1993.[2]
Activities

Ms.Pekin regularly represents foreign companies and banks, private equity funds, and other investment funds and financial institutions in cross-border transactions, specifically in Turkey. She also has significant experience in dispute resolutions, corporate law, project finance, capital markets and public offerings. Her industry expertise includes dispute resolutions, energy, banking and finance, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications and media."[2]
She has been on the board of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSIAD).[3]
