Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri aka Mohammed Deif is a Palestinian militant and the head of the Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamist organisation Hamas.[1]
Israel claims to have assassinated Mohammed Deif in an airstrike on Al-Mawasi on 13 July 2024; however, this is denied by Hamas.[2]
