Garland Nixon is a talk show host on WPFW, which is a talk and jazz music community radio station serving the greater Washington DC metropolitan area.

"News Views, with Garland Nixon" is broadcast each Friday from 6-7pm Eastern time on WPFW 89.3FM in Washington DC, and is streamed live on wpfwfm.org.[1]

Garland Nixon has made numerous appearances on national television as a Political Analyst.[2]

Background

Garland Nixon's work centres on foreign policy with a predominant focus on anti-imperialist movements worldwide. He spent over 20 years in law enforcement and retired holding the rank of Major. He then went on to teach criminal justice for several years before settling on full-time journalism. He was a regular panellist on Fox News from 2010 through 2019 appearing on nearly every show on the National network along with weekly appearances on local Fox News programs in Philadelphia and New York. Garland is also an outspoken civil libertarian and 1st amendment advocate and currently serves on the National Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).[3]

BREAKING NEWS: White House insiders leak that, when asked about the safety of the pilots in the F-16s headed for Ukraine President Biden replied, "they're pretty much toast, to be honest, these planes are pretty much Kamikaze drones with a person inside."[5]

US carrier group at risk

On 24 May 2023, Garland Nixon tweeted:

Chinese scientists war-game hypersonic strike on US carrier group in South China Sea.[6]
Over 20 intense battles, Chinese forces sank the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier fleet with a volley of 24 hypersonic anti-ship missiles, in a simulation run on a mainstream war game software platform used by China’s military. In the scenario, the US vessels are attacked after continuing to approach a China-claimed island in the South China Sea despite repeated warnings.[7]
