Amr Abdellatif Aboulatta (diplomat) | |

Amr Abdellatif Aboulatta was Egypt's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2014 until 2018[1] and was the Chair of the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee.[2][3] From 2008 to 2012, Abdellatif was Egypt's Ambassador to Jordan.[2] He also was permanent representative to the Arab League.[2]
Abdellatif has been rotating President of the United Nations Security Council on three occasions, for a month at a time.[4][5]
Aboualatta has been the Permanent Observer of the African Union to the United Nations Office in Geneva since February 2022.[1]
