Finchley and Golders Green is a borough constituency created in 1997 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. The current MP is Mike Freer of the Conservative Party, who has held the seat since the 2010 UK General Election.
Following the defection of Luciana Berger to the Liberal Democrats there is speculation that she will stand in the constituency.[1] This change in candidate would require the approval of the current prospective candidate (Clareine Enderby) and of the local party.
Sara Conway was selected as Labour's candidate but announced on 10 September 2019 that she was standing down following criticism of her comments about anti-semitism.[2]
