A strongly addictive recreational drug |
Methamphetamine is a synthetic drug first synthesised in 1893. It has been used to treat ADHD and obesity, but is rarely prescribed due to concerns of its addictive potential and neurotoxicity. It is strongly euphoric, highly addictive and is widely used recreationally. The smokable form is termed "ice" or "glass".
