Jill Dando was a BBC journalist who was shot dead in 1999.
Murder
Jill Dando was shot dead with a single bullet to the head. The theory first adopted by UK police "was that of a crazed opportunistic individual".[1] Many different theories have subsequently been presented.[2]

BBC Documentary

VIPaedophile
It was reported in 2014 that Jill Dando had received reports of a paedophile ring in the BBC and passed a file on the matter to senior management in the mid-1990s, and that some female workmates had told her that they had been groped or assaulted. However it turned out that that "no one wanted to know" and an investigation was never carried out.[4][5]
