A museum that promotes the official narrative that JFK was killed by "lone nut" Lee Harvey Oswald.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building (formerly the Texas School Book Depository owned by Texas oilman D. Harold Byrd[1][2]) in downtown Dallas, Texas, overlooking Dealey Plaza. The majority verdict of the Warren Commission, was that Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed John F. Kennedy from this floor.

Origins

The museum was founded by the Dallas County Historical Foundation. The CIA's 'liaison officer' was their third in charge, the Inspector General, Charles A. Briggs.[3]

Staff

In 1994 Gary Mack became an archivist and later curator of the Sixth Floor Museum. Under his curatorship, the museum moved to an ever firmer support for the conclusions of the Warren committee.[4]

Content

In December 1999, the Zapruder family donated the copyright to the Zapruder film to The Sixth Floor Museum, along with one of the first-generation copies made on November 22, 1963, and other copies of the film.
