WEF/YGL marketing professor who propagandized for harsh lockdowns during Covid
|
Scott Galloway is a US professor of marketing. He was selected a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 1999.
Activities
In 1992, he founded a strategy consultancy company helping global 1000 firms manage their brand(s) as an asset.[1]
Since 2002 he has been a professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business.
For much of Covid, Galloway was an advocate for more stringent and prolonged lockdowns. He supported closing businesses, restricting movement, and maintaining rigorous social distancing guidelines, often criticizing government officials for not going far enough.[2]
“I wanted a harsher lockdown policy. In retrospect: I was wrong… But here’s the bottom line: We were doing our best. Let’s give a little grace and forgiveness.”
Scott Galloway (October 2023) [3]
