On 3 June 2017 a terrorist attack took place in the Southwark district of London when three men drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge.
Wielding knives, the men then left the van and went to the nearby Borough Market area, where they stabbed people in and around restaurants and pubs.
Seven people were killed and 48 were wounded, including four unarmed police officers who attempted to tackle the assailants.
Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba, who were wearing fake explosive vests, were shot dead by police.[1]
