Harley Pasternak is a Canadian "personal trainer" whose clients include high-profile Hollywood celebrities.[1]

The threat Pasternak sent to Kanye West what would happen if he does not "play ball".[2] Apparently the the leak of this private conversation by West and the content is not disputed by Pasternak.[3][4]

Kanye West controversy

Kanye West said that Pasternak has a background as "Canadian, MK-Ultra, intelligence [operative]".[5] He served as an "exercise and nutrition scientist for Canada’s Department of National Defense",[6] and possibly was connected to agencies with a focus on psychological warfare operations and may have researched mind-altering drugs.[7]

Harley Pasternak: "Working for the military, I wasn't governed by the same laws that the typical person was, so I could look at the impact of certain drugs that are not every day things."[8]

It has been argued that he acts as a "handler" for celebrities.[9][10]

In late 2016, Kanye West, a client of Pasternak's, was hospitalized and handcuffed following a "psychotic breakdown" at Pasternak's home.[11][12]

His Wikipedia page was shortened after the controversy got wider recognition and received 'extended protection' [13] so that only 'extended confirmed users and administrators can edit it'. A very high number of edits started to take place beginning 3 November 2022‎, comparable to all edits that have been done to his Wikipedia page up to that point since it's beginning 3 on May 2008‎.[14]
