Rockefeller drug laws (law) | |

The Rockefeller drug laws increased the legal penalties for possession and dealing of recreational drugs, and introduced mandatory minimum sentencing. These have seen non-violent drug dealers convicted for as long as 55 years without the possibility of parole.[1][2]
