A sock puppet, on the Internet, is a fake account made to amplify a user's reach to be able to influence discussions on a wider scale.
Alternatively, it can refer to a puppet leader.
Persona Management
Persona management entails the use of software by which to facilitate the use of multiple fake online personas, ie sockpuppets", generally for the use of propaganda, disinformation, or as a surveillance method by which to discover details of a human target via social interactions.[1][2][3]
