Indian Ambassador to Malaysia

Official diplomatic relations between both modern states was established in 1957, following the Federation of Malaya independence. Since both are Commonwealth countries India is represented in Kuala Lumpur with a High Commissioner, in effect an Ambassador.

T. S. Tirumurti, the Indian High Commissioner 2013-2018 later became Indian Ambassador to the UN.
