The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme “cultivates the leaders of tomorrow by providing outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies with the opportunity to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford, combined with a comprehensive programme of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking.” [1]
Overview
It was founded by the spooky deep state actor George Weidenfeld and given additional funding in 2017 by the Swiss billionaire pharma heir André Hoffmann.[2][3]
The leadership programme is connected to the deep state intelligence outfit Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) through its Advisory Board, which includes Michael Lewis, Chairman of the ISD, and Alina Barnett, the grand-daughter in-law of George Weidenfeld.[4]
“The Leadership Programme is the unique feature of the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships...it prepares Scholars - intellectually, professionally and practically - to take on leadership positions in their chosen fields. Over the course of a year Scholars gain the knowledge, skills and networks to contribute to public life in their countries and regions of origin and to build lasting professional links across cultures and continents.”
Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Leadership Programme (2023) [5]
The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust also has a partnership with the Louis Dreyfus Foundation, the Hualan Education Group and the Uk deep state Chevening Scholarship.[3]
The programme also provides a limited number of scholarships to early to mid-career professionals in from the US.[2] Some of these are open spooks, with former jobs in the CIA or the Department of Homeland Security.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is as of 2023.[6]
