The Canadian High Commissioner to Malta is the chief diplomatic representative of Canada to Malta. As both countries are members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Canada and Malta exchange high commissioners rather than ambassadors, but since Malta only has 500,000 inhabitants, the island state is covered by the Canadian Ambassador to Italy.
