The usefulness of Forced vaccination or mandatory vaccination has been debated. In some cases i.e. smallpox it seems to have caused extinction of a virus or bacteria. In a lot of other cases, i.e. flu the vaccine seems to causes more deaths than the (rapidly changing) pathogen - in part due to adjuvants. [citation needed]

In the Spanish region of Andalucia, influenza vaccinations will be obligatory in 2020 for all over 65s and people at risk,as part of the regions Covid-19 measures.[1]. This is despite the fact that influenza vaccines do not help against Covid-19, and may even aggravate it.[citation needed]
