Ron Wright was an American politician who died a week before being sworn in to the US Congress.
Life
He was elected to Congress in 2018.
He was re-elected in 2020.
Voted against certifying Arizona's and Pennsylvania's electoral votes in an effort to deny the final mechanism that would legally certify Joe Biden's victory. Both votes occurred after the 2021 Washington D.C. Riots.
Death
Died of COVID.
His widow lost the special election to replace him.
