The purchasing power of the minimum wage in US, 2009-2018

The US federal minimum wage was $7.25/hour as of September 2017. If the minimum wage rose had risen in line with worker productivity, as it generally did between the end of World War II and 1968, it would have exceeded $20/hour.[1]
