Legal action

The Christic Institute brought a lawsuit against Hull. In June 1988, James L. King dismissed it.[1]

The Costa Rican authorities arrested him on charges of drug trafficking and using the country for "hostile acts" against Nicaragua. However, friends posted a $37,000 bail and Hull fled the country before the start of the trial.
