:I know very little about this. I recommend searching and see what you can find. In a pinch, if I want to put information down quickly and can't find evidence for something I'm almost sure is true, then I just write it without a reference and then a littlecn note to help people investigate this. Generally though, that is bad practice. For anything controversial, use references - as far as they're available. It's amazing what a determined search can turn up. Or not turn up! Yesterday I looked for a decent source for the Red House meeting, but seems there is none. Accordingly, I turned up the scepticism a lot on that atricle. --Robin (talk) 11:29, 19 August 2016 (IST)

I know very little about this. I recommend searching and see what you can find. In a pinch, if I want to put information down quickly and can't find evidence for something I'm almost sure is true, then I just write it without a reference and then a little[citation needed] note to help people investigate this.
