Operation Tiberius was an official internal Metropolitan Police investigation, into how organized crime through freemasonry was able to infiltrate the police.[1][2][3] The report was commissioned in October 2001 (written in 2002) and leaked to The Independent newspaper in 2014. It has been reported that people named in the report considered suing the Met Police for having been named.[4]
