Well connected revolving door company |
WestExec Advisors is a well-connected revolving door strategic consulting company, where former government executives can cash in and be rewarded for on their former job, "bringing the Situation Room to the Board Room".
It is particularly well connected to the military-industrial complex. Several of its members are on the boards of weapons manufacturers, and it offers "unmatched networks in defense, foreign policy, intelligence, economics, cybersecurity, data privacy, and strategic communications.[1]
The members of the group often appears in the corporate press, peddling political lines that seems to be fully alligned with their clients interests.
Several of its members are likely candidates for high-level jobs in future administrations.
Services
Most of its services are hidden from public scrutiny, but some examples are offered:
- Astroturfing: The company helped "conceptualize and scope the creation of a non-governmental organization" for a "preeminent American technology firm".
Finding compatible bureaucrats for a artificial intelligence analytics firm, by identifying "major stakeholders, and developed engagement strategies", leading to "key pilot programs with multiple national security agencies."
Name
WestExec Advisors states its name "is derived from West Executive Avenue, the closed street that runs between the West Wing of the White House and the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. It is, quite literally, the road to the Situation Room, and it is the road everyone associated with WestExec Advisors has crossed many times en route to meetings of the highest national security consequence. For us, “WestExec” conveys our shared commitment to our country, to each other, and to our clients."
Strategic Partners
The strategic partners are Boston Consulting Group,Ridgeline and Pine Island Capital Partners.
