Rosie Bate-Williams is the new Downing Street Press Secretary, but she will no longer be named after their official briefings, a concession to transparency dating back to the Blair era.[1]

She formerly worked as a former media special adviser in Downing Street and before that press officer in Conservative HQ.[2]
