Activities
Just before Stewart Menzies retired as MI6 head, he met to tell his successor about the "unofficial reserve", a multi-million pound slush fund he had personally administered. Edward Bridges asked Menzies how much money he had in the account and expressed concern about lack of accountability. [1]
