Since neither of these makes much sense, they will probably never be needed for another topic, so perhaps the meaning of "/" could be broadened out; how about expanding it to include "by" or "in"...? If this seems like a rather abstract thought, remember that the more closely we can pin down the semantics, the better we can expect {{SMW}} to perform - and pagenames are the base unit of semantic. I think I'll leave the question hanging for a while and look at other such pages, but discussion on this point is welcome. Subpage?

This relates two different ideas, UK and torture, but the standard connector ("/", meaning "of") doesn't quite work:

  • Torture/UK ~ "The UK Of Torture"
  • UK/Torture ~ "Torture of the UK"

Since neither of these makes much sense, they will probably never be needed for another topic, so perhaps the meaning of "/" could be broadened out; how about expanding it to include "by" or "in"...? If this seems like a rather abstract thought, remember that the more closely we can pin down the semantics, the better we can expect SMW to perform - and pagenames are the base unit of semantic. I think I'll leave the question hanging for a while and look at other such pages, but discussion on this point is welcome. Robin (talk) 15:31, 11 August 2014 (IST)
