Pertaining to the campaign, launched by the USA under the Presidency of George W. Bush with the support of the United Kingdom, most NATO members (at least formally) and other Western-aligned countries. The campaign was a response to the events of 11 September 2001. It had the stated objective of eliminating 'al-Qaeda' and other so called 'terrorist organisations' in whatever country(s) they may operate.
Whilst in historical and logical senses it is close to meaningless, it continues to be used as a doctrine for removal of civil liberties by Western politicians.
WikiSpooks regards the entire concept as bogus and the issues/events it targets largely manufactured to serve a carefully crafted agenda in furtherance of 'One-World governance' under the hegemony of the US/UK/NATO (the NWO).
